The Public Initiative “For harmonization of legislation on personal data protection” was started by the Ukrainian Direct Marketing Association with the assistance of other Ukrainian branch unions.

Together we demand to modify the Law of Ukraine No 2297 “On personal data protection” which having come into force on 01.01.11. The current version of Law does not ensure in full the conditions for realization of personal and civil rights of citizens and impedes the entrepreneurial and social activities.

The participants of public initiative prepared their own proposals on improving the Ukrainian legislation on personal data protection that were submitted for consideration to the law-initiators.

We turned to the public officers asking to support the modifications to the Law of Ukraine “On personal data protection”
